This stylish and modern mug named Lamorna Cove is at the end of a lush green valley. This rocky cove was made famous by the artist Dame Laura Knight, who captured the almost turquoise coloured water on a sunny day. Memorable as the setting to a well loved Cornish Song: ‘And we rode all night through the pale moonlight away down to Lamorna.

Inspired by the land and seascape of Cornish coves, this beautiful collection of illustrations were the winning entry in a competition Rick Stein launched to final year Art and Design students at Falmouth University, to create his now classic tabletop collection. Eight coves and bays from North Cornwall have been hand-painted in watercolour showing the depth and colour variations in the sea.
