As spring shifts to summer, British berries begin to ripen with one variant following the other as the weather becomes warmer then shifts back to the cooling autumn months. Capturing the transition, this gorgeous platter features artwork of various English fruits: hawthorn, blackcurrant & elderberry. The imagery has been hand-sponged onto the platter using a combination of techniques creating a unique reproduction each time with a slight textured effect. The platter is made and decorated in a small, family-owned factory in Italy, where artisan techniques are handed down through the generations. The strong, durable earthenware clay used ensures the side plate set will last through many delightful dinners.
